CUTTER TIPS:
These are more frequently used to repair small, tiny dents. The best feature of this tool is its ability to grip the metal, but beware of using too much pressure as with its sharp tip it is easy to slip and cause pimples or creases.

SEMI POINTS:
These flat but rounded tips are ideal for damage that is close to a seam or a weld. A friendly easy to use tool can be used on all types of damage and is often the most used repairer’s tool.
TRI-POINT:
This is a multi edged tool and is an ideal tool for use on heavier type metal and where you need to grip the metal; because of it sharp edges, care must be taken not to create highs or creases. Always use with great care.

TAPER TIPS:
These have flat edges and are rounded at the tip. They are a good all round tip although they are not as gentle as “Semi-points”. A good tip for using as a finishing tool; again care must be taken as this tip can slip causing highs and creases.
ROUND NOSE:
This is a very good, easy to use, tip for all types of damage. This tip is simple to control but if over pressured it creases highs and it does not grip the metal. Extra care should be taken to avoid slipping.
